Job summary
A leading construction firm based in Singapore is seeking a Regional Business Development Manager to drive growth in its Civil Infrastructure and Building portfolios across the Asia-Pacific region. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of experience within the construction sector, particularly in business development and tendering. Responsibilities include identifying new markets, building partnerships, and enhancing client relationships. The role offers a competitive salary up to $14,000 plus bonuses and benefits.
Qualifications
- At least 8 years of Business Development Management and Tendering experience in the construction industry is mandatory.
- A minimum of 10 years of overall experience in the construction industry is required.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Civil Infrastructure and Building portfolios.
- Expand the company’s presence and revenue streams across the Asia-Pacific region.
- Identify new markets and strengthen client relationships.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
- Up to $14,000 basic + Bonus + Benefits
- Permanent role/ 5 workdays/ HQ located at east area, short walking distance to MRT station.
- Having at least 8 years of BDM/ Commercial and Tendering experience in the construction industry is mandatory.
- Having consultancy network experience in the construction industry is preferred.

Our clients are leading A1 main contractors diverse in civil, building and infrastructure project.
- The Regional Business Development Manager reporting to Managing Director.
- Responsible for Civil Infrastructure portfolio and Building portfolio.
- Responsible in lead strategic efforts to expand the Company’s presence and revenue streams across the Asia‑Pacific region.
- Responsible in identifying new markets, building partnerships, strengthening client relationships, and supporting proposal development.
- Coordinate business development activities across regional offices.
- Identify and pursue new Civil & Building projects opportunities in Singapore and the wider APAC region.
- Develop networks with consultants (e.g. cost/design) to support project leads.
- Grow and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
- Lead proposal and presentation preparation for new bids/ Tenders.
- Collaborate with tender teams on RFP responses.
- Represent the Company at industry events and conferences.
- Mentor and guide junior team members.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field.
- Having at least 10 years of experience in the construction industry is mandatory.
- Having main contractor experience in the construction industry is preferred.
