A Construction Foreman is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a construction site, ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety regulations. They supervise and lead the construction crew, coordinate activities, and ensure that the project is executed according to plans and specifications. The Foreman also acts as the point of contact between the site workers and higher-level management.

• Team Leadership & Supervision:
  • Supervise, direct, and manage construction workers, ensuring that tasks are completed on schedule and to specification.
  • Provide clear instructions to workers, delegate tasks, and maintain productivity on-site.
  • Train new workers and provide ongoing guidance to ensure proper work methods and safety standard are followed.
• Project Coordination:
  • Collaborate with the site manager, project manager, and other team members to ensure efficient daily site operations.
  • Monitor and ensure that the construction work adheres to the project’s specifications, timeline, and budget.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure materials and equipment are delivered on time.
• Safety Compliance:
  • Enforce safety rules and regulations on the job site to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and implement corrective measures as needed.
  • Ensure that all workers are using proper personal protective equipment (PPE) and are aware of site safety protocols.
• Quality Control:
  • Inspect all aspects of the construction process to ensure the work meets the project specifications and quality standards.
  • Identify and address any issues, errors, or defects, ensuring that they are corrected before proceeding.
  • Work with the project manager to address any quality concerns and ensure compliance with building codes.
• Material and Equipment Management:
  • Ensure that materials, tools, and equipment are available on-site and properly stored.
  • Monitor inventory levels, report material needs, and ensure the correct materials are used according to the plans.
  • Supervise the proper use and maintenance of construction equipment and machinery.
• Schedule and Productivity Management:
  • Ensure that tasks are completed according to the project timeline and work schedules.
  • Track progress, identify delays, and take corrective actions as necessary to maintain the schedule.
  • Coordinate with other trades and workers to ensure that activities are carried out smoothly and efficiently.
• Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of daily work activities, materials used, workforce attendance, and safety checks.
  • Report any significant issues, delays, or changes to the project manager or construction manager.
  • Document incidents or accidents on-site and ensure proper reporting protocols are followed.
• Problem-Solving & Issue Resolution:
  • Address any on-site issues related to work quality, delays, safety concerns, or material shortages.
  • Provide solutions for any challenges that arise during the construction process, ensuring that work can continue without disruption.

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a construction foreman or similar supervisory role.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction methods, blueprints, materials, and building codes.
• Leadership Skills: Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team of workers.
• Problem-Solving: Quick decision-making abilities to resolve issues that may arise during the construction process.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with workers, subcontractors, and management.

• Physical Requirements:
