A leading manufacturing company in Singapore is seeking a skilled Supply Chain Manager to oversee the entire planning function, ensuring production aligns with demand and business objectives. This role requires strong leadership in a fast-paced environment, with responsibilities including managing stock levels and implementing inventory strategies. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a related field, experience with MRP/ERP systems, and excellent communication and problem-solving skills. This position offers an opportunity to significantly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of supply chain operations.
Oversee the entire planning function to ensure production aligns with demand, capacity, and business objectives.
Lead all internal weekly/monthly reporting, as well as divisional and corporate submissions with accuracy and clarity.
Work closely with Customer Service to define achievable delivery dates based on real-time capacity and production constraints.
Drive coordination, data preparation, and alignment with divisional teams for a smooth industrialisation of new products.
Manage stock levels, buffer stock programs, and VMI initiatives; implement actions to meet inventory and WIP targets.
Take full accountability for Days of Inventory (DOI), Work‑In‑Progress (WIP), and material flow across all sites.
Translate decisions from S&OP and capacity planning meetings into actionable plans for the plant.
Review weekly sales figures and new order enquiries to support production readiness and prioritisation.
Define intercompany volumes and part‑number allocation with Operations/Manufacturing managers.
Chair daily production meetings to drive smooth operations and ensure quick resolution of issues (quality, equipment, delays).
Lead and develop a team of schedulers/planners; set KPIs, monitor performance, and build strong planning capability.
Review and act on MRP messages to maintain accurate planning and efficient material flow.
