HEAL is a education-focused private equity group with assets across Childcare centres, Tuition centres, International schools and Training Institutes in the Southeast Asia region. We are looking for an individual who is meticulous and analytical to add value to the team. The ideal hire is a self-starter who enjoys taking on initiatives and comfortable navigating changes.

You will be reporting directly to the General Manager and will be given opportunities to work closely with some of our most important partners and vendors as well as internal colleagues and cross-functional team.

Responsibilities
  • Support the HEAL management team to divest the operations of HEAL's portfolio of childcare centres in Singapore
  • Execute M&A strategies, including valuation, deal structuring, negotiations, and transaction execution
  • Manage and coordinate approach of the sell‑side process with the potential buyers, third‑party diligence providers and brokers
  • Manage the overall performance of all operating entities to ensure they meet the performance target and budgets as set by the Board of HEAL. The role would straddle human resource management, business management, steering businesses strategically, and managing/aligning interest of stakeholders spanning shareholders, directors, and key operating managers of HEAL's portfolio assets
  • Understanding of the business processes in Singapore, and the education sector, would be a bonus but not a requisite
  • Directly reporting to select committees in the HEAL board
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by the management
Ideal Candidate
  • Preferably a Bachelor's Degree.
  • 1 to 4 years of working experience preferably in business administration, corporate finance, M&A, professional services, private equity or transaction due diligence
  • Skilled in PPT, Excel and Word and general savviness related to IT matters. Bonus for any basic skills in any data analytics tools
  • Team player with a keen interest in financial services and/or education industry
  • High level of reliability, integrity with a positive and mature disposition
  • Dynamic individual with excellent interpersonal skills to interact in a fast-moving environment, able to multitask, work independently under minimal supervision and demonstrate strong problem‑solving skills
  • Highly proficient and fluent in English (written and verbal)
  • Candidates who are able to start work immediately or within short notice will be prioritised
