Reporting to the Deputy Director of HPIO, you will be responsible for driving and supporting continuous improvement and innovation initiatives to improve quality of care, patient safety, productivity and experience of both patients and employees in SACH and community care.
Requirements
- A degree in Business / Industrial Design / Engineering / Medicine / Nursing / Pharmaceutical Science
- Certified Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt is a must for candidate without healthcare experience
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in healthcare
- Experience in facilitating workshops and conducting training
- Experience in applying Design Thinking framework and other human‑centric design techniques, including persona development, jobs-to-be-done, crafting of insights, journey mapping, rapid prototyping and the building of wireframes, clickable or physical prototypes is highly preferred
- Experience in design and marketing will be an added advantage
- Excellent planning, analytical, problem solving and communication skills are essential
- Is highly self-motivated and driven, possessing a positive can‑do attitude and the perseverance to overcome challenges
Responsibilities
- Support SACH leadership in developing, planning and implementing continuous improvement and innovation programmes, adhering to the National Standards of Healthcare Work.
- Develop, conduct and customize training and hands‑on application programmes in Lean Thinking, Human Factors Analysis & Classification System methodologies.
- Act as an overall administrator for the hospital incident reporting system
- Oversee and review Serious Reportable Events and ensure prompt submission to MOH
- Oversee and facilitate quality improvement work derived from various quality assurance committees
- Drive "Speaking Up" initiative in SACH
- Organize the annual SACH Quality & Safety Festival
- Collaborate with external organizations for quality improvement efforts such as organizing Quality Conferences and cross institutional improvement projects
- Any other tasks as assigned by HOD
