Job summary
A consulting firm in Singapore is seeking a professional to lead supply chain strategies supporting New Product Development. You will manage external manufacturers and collaborate with R&D and Engineering teams. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Engineering or Business, PMP Certification, and has over 5 years of relevant experience. This role requires the ability to travel across Southeast Asia and focuses on ensuring supplier quality and effective project execution.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a PMO organization for NPD or R&D.
- Experience in Semiconductor capital equipment contract manufacturing is desirable.
- Ability to travel in SEA.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute supply chain strategies for NPD.
- Manage external manufacturers and partners for alignment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project execution.
- Lead supply chain activities for New Product Introduction.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks.
Skills
Education
- Develop and execute supply chain strategies supporting New Product Development (NPD) and business goals
- Manage external manufacturers and strategic partners to ensure alignment on technical requirements, timelines, and delivery
- Collaborate closely with R&D, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Procurement teams to drive successful project execution
- Lead supply chain activities for New Product Introduction (NPI), including risk assessment and mitigation
- Support Design for Manufacturability (DFM) to optimise production readiness and reduce manufacturing risks
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure resilience, cost control, and on-time delivery
- Resolve supplier and manufacturing issues and manage change requests effectively
- Work with category managers on global sourcing, cost optimisation, and supplier performance
- Ensure supplier quality standards are met in line with Quality requirements
- Track and report key supply chain KPIs and project status to management
- Drive governance, change management, and continuous improvement across the supply chain organisation
- Degree in Engineering / Business
- PMP Certified
- Experience in Semiconductor capital equipment contract manufacturing, Contract Manufacturing, Supply Chain Processes & Quality Management is highly desirable
- 5 years of experience in a PMO organization for NPD or R&D organization
- Ability to travel in SEA
