The Procurement manager will oversee and optimize their procurement processes for goods and services related to their fleet operations. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, equipment, and services necessary for the smooth operation of their vessels.

Responsibilities

• Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitive landscapes.
• Strategic Sourcing: Formulate and execute efficient procurement strategies aimed at achieving cost-effectiveness and enhancing the reliability of the organization's supply chain.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Foster and sustain strong partnerships with suppliers, engage in contract negotiations, and oversee supplier performance to guarantee adherence to quality, delivery, and cost benchmarks.
• Risk Management: Recognize and address procurement risks by implementing robust risk management strategies and contingency plans.
• Compliance: Ensure strict compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and company policies in all procurement operations.
• Budget Oversight: Work closely with the technical and finance teams to develop and supervise budgets, regularly monitoring and reporting on procurement activities.
