AP OPS Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE) team is seeking a highly motivated, independent individual with a broad knowledge of engineering principles in a fast-paced high-tech environment. The candidate should have a solid foundation in OSAT technologies and processes to cover mobile chipset, automotive, RF Module, and 5G antenna. Experience in Bumping/WLP technology and package assembly is advantageous. The role includes quality investigation and improvement, yield tracking, and system development for direct business. Conduct supplier quality assessments for key OSAT (BE1/BE2) suppliers. Develop monitoring and measurement systems including ongoing SPC data monitoring and reporting while driving continuous improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and document processes for a direct business model. Support RMA investigations with package and customer teams and drive corrective and preventive actions through completion.

• Managing OSAT manufacturing quality activities
• Problem solving and follow up of OSAT actions
• Drive OSAT supplier for continuous quality and process improvement
• Lead cross-functional team to contain and prevent quality excursions

• Experience with high-volume manufacturing (HVM) bumping/assembly/test
• 10 years of experience working with major OSAT, assembly, and test suppliers and HVM troubleshooting through problem solving

• Experience translating technical problems into actionable items and querying quality database systems
• Knowledge of the latest IC assembly technology and manufacturing processes including SMT module assembly
• Experience working with Asia-based suppliers on process development and improvements
• Fluent in English; willingness to travel
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with strong communication and presentation abilities in multicultural environments
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and apply structured problem-solving methods
• Ability to interface with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams internally and with Asia operations/suppliers
• Advanced knowledge of statistical tools (e.g., SPC, DOE, FMEA, Gauge R&R)
• Ability to interpret basic metrics for presentations using advanced MS Excel functions

Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Science, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field with 4+ years of Quality Engineering or related experience; or Master’s Degree with 3+ years; or PhD with 2+ years.
