Job summary
A diversified business group in Singapore is seeking a motivated Accountant to manage full sets of accounts and prepare year-end financial statements. The ideal candidate has a degree in Accountancy, 3-5 years of experience in an accounting firm, and is bilingual in English and Mandarin. This role offers a chance to be part of a small finance team, focusing on detail-oriented tasks and tax compliance.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of professional experience in accounting firm.
- Willingness to expand expertise into accounting if coming from a tax background.
- Possess a positive attitude and strong initiative.
Responsibilities
- Handle full sets of accounts and day-to-day financial operations.
- Prepare year-end financial statements and liaise with auditors.
- Liaise with tax agents and assist in identifying tax planning ideas.

Education
We are a diversified business group with interests in e-commence, construction and trading businesses. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our small finance team based in Singapore.
- Handle full sets of accounts and day-to-day financial operations
- Prepare year-end financial statements and liaise with auditors to complete annual audit
- Involved in group consolidation and shareholders’ reporting
- Manage overall tax compliance matters, including corporate income tax, GST, etc.
- Liaise with tax agents and assist in identifying tax planning ideas and improvement opportunities
- Liaise with corporate secretary on corporate secretarial matters.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties and tasks as assigned.
- Degree in Accountancy or equivalent qualification.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in accounting firm.
- Tax professionals who wish to expand their expertise into accounting are welcome to apply.
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin (spoken & written) as this position will need to liaise with China offices
- Possess a positive attitude, strong initiative, and willingness to learn.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
Work location: Bukit Merah Central
