Job summary
A logistics company in Singapore is seeking a candidate to oversee container operations, including receiving, storage, repairs, and inventory management. The ideal applicant should hold a Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, have at least 1 year of experience in the logistics sector, and possess strong communication and coordination skills. This role offers a chance to coordinate with various stakeholders and prepare operational reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Logistics or related field is required.
- 1 year of experience in container depot/shipping/logistics preferred.
- Knowledge of depot processes and container handling.
Responsibilities
- Oversee container receiving, storage, repairs, and release.
- Update container status and maintain accurate yard inventory.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, transporters, and customers.
- Plan yard space and support equipment/manpower allocation.
- Prepare daily operational reports and resolve on-ground issues.
