Roles & Responsibilities
- a. Quantity take off for tender
- b. Liaison with supplier & contractor to prepare costing for tender exercise
- c. To source for quotations of equipment & materials needed for projects
- d. Arrangement with supplier & contractor for delivery of product & services needed for projects
- e. Arrangement / liaison with colleagues / vendors to ensure materials procured is fit for use
- f. Capturing of variation orders for respective & different projects
- g. Negotiation of variation with both client / main contractor and service providers
- h. Preparation of quotations / tenders
- i. Preparation of material submission for approval
- j. Preparation of Operation & Maintenance Manual
Job Description
The role involves preparing comprehensive tender documentation, managing supplier and contractor relationships, and ensuring project materials meet quality standards across all phases of M&E projects within Singapore.
Requirement –
- a) Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience, or more in construction industry in Singapore, particularly M&E services
- b) Experience & knowledge of M&E services and systems
- c) Able to read & interpret project specifications / drawings
- d) Able to read & interpret contract scope of works
- e) Knowledge / understanding of building code of practices in Singapore
- f) Knowledge / understanding of BCA greenmark requirements
- g) Knowledge of relevant service providers in Singapore market will be advantageous
- h) Ability to read / understand architectural & structural drawings will be advantageous
- i) Ability to read BIM drawings will be an advantage
- j) Able to do simple / basic AutoCAD sketches will be advantageous
- k) Able to do simple hydraulic calculations (air / water) will be advantageous
