Job Description:
  • Ensure all technical build-ups, drawings, and construction details comply with design plans and project specifications.
  • Prepare technical documents for tender submission, including project plans, construction methodologies, work schedules, and quality assurance measures.
  • Develop technical proposals and engineering support documents for bidding projects.
  • Coordinate with the engineering team to prepare and review engineering drawings, sketches, and design details.
  • Work closely with consultants and clients; prepare presentation materials for tender or design review meetings.
  • Conduct detailed site investigations, including terrain, soil, and underground condition assessments, to support engineering design such as drainage, utilities, and earthwork.
  • Prepare and review design layouts, elevations, and technical drawings.
  • Provide drawing modifications and recommend design changes to suit site conditions, liaising with Engineers as required.
  • Manage the compilation of construction operation manuals, method statements, technical reports, and design summaries.
  • Prepare detailed monthly and weekly work progress plans according to project targets.
  • Coordinate with government agencies, developers, and owners on technical matters and site issues.
  • Ensure timely, safe, and cost-effective implementation of design and construction works throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain and enforce technical standards, systems, and processes across the project team.
  • Prepare bill of quantities (BOQ), check quantities, and ensure cost compliance with design and specifications.
  • Provide technical guidance and ensure compliance with relevant regulations, specifications, and industry standards.
  • Lead and supervise the technical team and identify training needs where necessary.
  • Oversee site testing, inspections, and evaluations to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Supervise site works to ensure safety, technical accuracy, and construction efficiency.
  • Provide technical advice related to steel cofferdam construction, underwater piling, structural equipment standards, earthwork surveying, and geological investigations.
Job Requirements:
  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in construction projects.
  • Experience with Building or LTA projects is an advantage.
  • Tender experience is prefer.
  • Strong technical knowledge and quality control capabilities.
  • Able to lead survey and engineering teams effectively.
  • Proficient in preparing design drawings and technical documents.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Able to work in the west region, near MRT.
