A leading payment solutions firm is seeking a Market Development Specialist in Singapore. You will collect and analyze industry trends, formulate market development plans, and maintain partnerships to drive business growth across Southeast Asia. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of relevant experience in a related field, along with strong analytical and communication skills in both Chinese and English. This position may require travel within the region.
1. Collect and analyse industry trends and competitor activities to provide regular market insights and strategic recommendations in support of regional business decisions.
2. Assist in formulating and implementing annual market development plans and objectives based on regional strategies, monitor execution progress, and report results regularly.
3. Develop and maintain key partnerships with online and offline acquirers, merchants, and institutional clients within the region to drive sustainable business growth.
4. Support project management across Southeast Asian countries, including project initiation, execution, payment coordination, and closure, ensuring smooth implementation and timely delivery.
5. Coordinate internal resources to provide members with business consultation, system support, and training services, enhancing overall collaboration experience.
6. Follow up on member requirements and feedback, promote internal process optimisation and service quality improvement to strengthen satisfaction and partnership engagement.
7. Compile and analyse market and member-related data to support management decision‑making.
8. Prepare and submit regular reports on market development and member support activities to facilitate regional business planning and evaluation.
9. Perform other related tasks as assigned by supervisors.
1. Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, or Marketing.
2. Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in payment, financial institutions, consulting, or market development. Experience in international business will be an advantage.
3. Solid understanding of market development and project management, with familiarity in data analysis tools.
4. Strong business analysis, logical thinking, and strategic planning abilities.
5. Proven capability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and drive projects to successful completion.
6. Willingness to travel within the Southeast Asia region as required by business needs.
7. High level of professional ethics, strong sense of responsibility, clear logical thinking, and effective communication skills.
8. Excellent cross-cultural communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently in an international environment.
9. Good command of both spoken and written Chinese and English.
