Job summary
A leading furniture design company is seeking a Furniture Designer to develop innovative furniture solutions. The role involves extensive collaboration with marketing and engineering teams, creating prototypes, and requires relocation to China for immersive work. Candidates must have a strong design portfolio and proficiency in 3D modeling software. Fluency in Chinese is preferred. Competitive compensation and relocation support are offered.
Qualifications
- A strong portfolio showcasing relevant work.
- Degree/Diploma in Industrial Design, Product Design, Furniture Design, or related fields.
Responsibilities
- Conduct market research and stay updated on design trends.
- Develop and present innovative furniture designs to stakeholders.
- Create detailed sketches, renderings, and 3D models.
- Select appropriate materials and construction methods.
- Collaborate with engineers and manufacturers for feasibility.
- Prepare technical drawings and specifications for manufacturing.
- Manage design projects within established timelines.
- Participate in design reviews and provide feedback.
- Contribute to the company's design language and brand identity.
- Maintain organized design files and documentation.
