Analyze space utilization data to identify inefficiencies and recommend optimization strategies.
Develop predictive models to forecast space needs based on faculty expansion, student enrolment, and operational changes.
Implement real-time tracking and reporting dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to monitor room occupancy and trends.
Establish data-backed benchmarks for space allocation and efficiency.
Collaborate with stakeholders (e.g. RO, SMU-A, SMU-ExD) to ensure an efficient booking process that aligns with university priorities.
Support OCIS in analyzing space-related data to improve operational policies.
Ensure data integrity and establish standardized reporting processes.
Integrate space management data with broader university analytics to inform decision-making.
Assist the team with administrative tasks such as preparing reports and managing data documentation.
Coordinate meetings and maintain records.
Ensure smooth operations within the team and department.
Degree holder (ideally real estate).
Professional skills in data analytics, change management.
Prior experiences in workspace management (across different sites) and experiences in conducting office space renovations, space optimization.
Experience: 3-5 years in space planning or data analytics.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in data analytics & visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, SQL).
Experience with space management software (Planon, AutoCAD).
Understanding of AI-driven scheduling and IoT-based tracking for real-time space monitoring.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ability to implement change management strategies effectively.
Space Planning and Utilization: Understanding of space planning principles and techniques to optimize the use of physical spaces.
