About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Claims Assistant to join the dynamic team at SME Motor Pte Ltd. As a Claims Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the processing and management of insurance claims, playing a vital role in ensuring efficient and effective claims resolution for our customers. In this full-time position, you will be based in our Kaki Bukit East Region office.
Responsibilities
Assist customer with accident reporting and documentation
Advise customer on claims procedures, repair processes, and documentation requirements
Follow up with workshop on status of repair and update customer
Providing excellent customer service and addressing customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
Adhering to company policies, procedures, and industry regulations throughout the claims management process
Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the department head
Requirements:
Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in motor insurance claims or automotive industry preferred
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with customers and colleagues
Proficient in using relevant claims management software and basic computer applications
Possess a valid Class 3 driving licence
A commitment to providing exceptional customer service and a genuine interest in the insurance industry
- Able to start work immediately or at short notice would be preferred.
