Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in Singapore is looking for a Product Specialist in Telemarketing to promote personal line products to bank customers. The role involves achieving sales targets through proactive outbound calls and responding to inquiries effectively. Candidates should have telemarketing experience in banking or insurance, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle objections. Qualifications

Product Specialist, Telemarketing (Perm)

Join our team and play a key role in promoting personal line products to bank customers through proactive outbound calls and responding to inbound sales inquiries with exceptional service.
You will also focus on meeting sales targets while expanding the customer base through effective cross‑selling and up‑selling strategies.

Job Purpose:
  • Achieve sales target KPIs, call quality and operational standards;
  • Identify opportunities for cross‑selling and up‑selling;
  • Handle and follow up with customer enquiries with confidence;
  • Convert leads provided by the bank to sales through telemarketing activities;
  • Ensure calls are conducted with full adherence to regulations and in line with Quality Assurance standards;
  • Liaise with internal departments on policy fulfillment;
Requirements:
  • Minimum GCE ‘O’ Levels
  • Possess with BCP, PGI and HI papers (Will have to take the papers if do not possess, reimbursable upon passing attempt)
  • Telemarketing or sales experience in banking or insurance sector is a MUST
  • Confident communicator with excellent verbal and written skills
  • Comfortable with outbound calls and stakeholder interactionsStrong persuasion and negotiation skills
  • Patient and resilient to handle rejection and objections
  • Independent, organized, and positive worker with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong track record of stability and reliability in past roles is preferred
