Job summary
A leading HR advisory firm in Singapore is looking for a Sale and Engineering Support Engineer to serve as a technical point of contact for clients while assisting in sales and project execution. The role involves working closely with the Sales Manager, preparing estimates, leading a team of technicians, and ensuring client satisfaction. Ideal candidates should have an engineering degree and a proven track record in technical support or sales engineering. Competitive salary up to $3450 available.
Qualifications
- A degree in Engineering is essential, preferably with a focus on Mechanical, Electrical, or Controls.
- Prior experience in technical support or sales engineering is preferred.
- Ability to lead a team and coordinate with project managers is a must.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary technical point of contact for customers.
- Work with the Sales Manager to prepare estimates and quotations.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager for parts procurement and project execution.
- Lead and delegate tasks among technicians and assistants.
- Build rapport with clients and provide technical advice.
Skills
Education
- Location: Nearest MRT Lentor
- Working hours: Monday – Friday | 8.30am – 6.15pm
- Salary: Max $3450
- A Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Controls).
- A proven track record in a technical support or sales engineering role is preferred
- Reports directly to the Sales Manager and Project Manager.
- Technical Support: Serve as a primary technical point of contact for customers, providing expert guidance and troubleshooting. You'll also provide feedback to help with follow‑up jobs.
- Pre‑Sales Engineering: Work with the Sales Manager to understand customer requirements and provide technical information on our products. You will also assist in preparing direct estimates and quotations and participate in the planning and survey phase of new installations.
- Project Execution: Coordinate with the Project Manager to assist in the procurement of parts and components. You will also convert design drawings into working drawings, carry out tests and prepare reports for system commissioning, and ensure work is completed according to as‑built drawings.
- Team Leadership: Lead a team of technicians and assistants, delegating work and monitoring their progress to meet deadlines.
- Client Relations: Build rapport with clients by showing you care about their concerns. You will be their key contact for technical advice and support.
