We’re looking for aSoftware Engineerto join the teams behindMyCareersFutureandJobseeker Support — mission-driven public digital servicesthat support over200,000 monthly active jobseekers and 30,000 active employersacross Singapore.

As a Software Engineer, your work will directly help people find jobs, explore career pathways, and access timely support during critical life transitions. We’re embarking on aredesign of the individual dashboard and user journeys as we pivot into a career portalto empower individuals to explore career possibilities and identify their strengths, enabling them to make better informed career decisions.

Additionally, you will drive the design, implementation & delivery of one or more products owned by your squad.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designandbuildmodern,user-centricwebapplicationswithafocusonreliability, security,andscalability.
• Collaboratewithcross-functionalteams(designers,QEs,PMs)todeliverfull-stackfeaturesfromUItoclouddeployment.
• Writeclean,maintainable,andtestablecodeusingmodernJavaScript/TypeScript.
• BuildAPIsandbackendservicesusingNode.jsand/orGolang.
• ImplementandmaintainCI/CDpipelinesandcloudinfrastructure(AWSpreferred).
• Participateincodereviews,testingpractices,andarchitecturaldiscussions.
• Mentorandsupportteammates,fosteringacultureofgrowthandcontinuouslearning.

Must-haves

• 2+yearsofexperiencebuildinganddeployingmodernwebapplicationsusingJavaScriptandTypeScript.
• Stronghands-onexperiencewithReact.jsforfront-enddevelopment.
• Practicalexperienceinfull-stackdevelopment,integratingUIswithAPIsandbackendservices.
• FamiliaritywithNode.jsand/orGolangforbackendservicedevelopment.
• DemonstratedexperiencewithautomatedtestingframeworkssuchasJest,Playwright,Cypress,orsimilar.
