The Senior Assistant Manager (Graduate Research Admissions) is responsible for all aspects of postgraduate research (PGR) admissions and scholarships, from applications processing and offer issuance to renewal and funding decisions. The incumbent will provide guidance to a team of staff and act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders addressing PGR related queries.
The Senior Assistant Manager is also responsible in overseeing System Management System (SMS) project pertaining to graduate research and coursework admissions and scholarships, ensuring seamless transition into new SMS, drive the communication process amongst internal and external stakeholders, maintaining accurate student records, ensuring smooth workflows, and upholding fairness and transparency in the admissions and scholarship procedures.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent; and minimum 5 years’ experience in the education industry.
Experience in higher education administration, preferably in admissions.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle complex tasks/situations.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders.
Experience in supervising or guiding junior team members.
Familiarity with Student Management Systems will be advantageous and related administrative processes.
Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
