Production Technician
Job summary
A biotechnology company in Singapore is seeking a production assistant to support IVD production. Responsibilities include preparing reagents, maintaining inventory records, operating equipment, and assisting in e-commerce order fulfillment. Ideal candidates have experience in controlled environments and strong attention to detail. The position offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with a focus on quality compliance.
Qualifications
- Experience in IVD production or related manufacturing settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with production quality systems for medical products.
- Able to follow instructions and SOPs closely.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of reagents and quality control products.
- Maintain records of raw materials usage and ensure traceability.
- Support inventory management and report low stock levels.
- Operate production equipment and maintain cleanliness.
- Assist in e-commerce order fulfillment.
Skills
- Assist in the preparation of reagents, calibration materials, and quality control products according to established SOPs.
- Maintain accurate records of raw and supplementary materials usage, ensuring proper labeling and traceability.
- Support inventory management by monitoring material usage and reporting low stock levels to the supervisor or procurement team.
- Collect, handle, and record raw materials, auxiliary materials, and packaging materials required for daily production activities.
- Complete production logbooks and related documentation to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
- Operate production equipment and ensure cleanliness of facilities and workstations in line with process and regulatory requirements.
- Follow laboratory-related safety and quality management standards.
- Support daily production tasks and collaborate with team members to achieve production targets.
- Assist in e-commerce order fulfillment, including basic packing and labeling of products for shipment.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Production Supervisor or management team.
- Experience in IVD production, controlled environment operations, or related manufacturing settings preferred.
- Familiarity with production quality systems for in vitro diagnostic or medical products.
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility for accuracy and compliance.
- Able to follow instructions and SOPs closely, with good time management skills.
- Proactive, reliable, and a team player with willingness to learn.
- Ability to work under supervision and meet tight production schedules.
