Job summary
A leading chemical manufacturing company in Singapore is seeking a Production Process Technician to support plant operations and ensure equipment functions optimally. Responsibilities include adhering to safety protocols, performing data entry, and assisting in troubleshooting plant issues. Ideal candidates are hands-on, self-disciplined, and possess good communication skills. The job requires O Level or equivalent and offers a salary range of 2.0K to 2.4K SGD with rotating shifts.

- Ensure smooth operation of the production plant.
- Follow work SOPs and observe safety rules.
- Assist TL in troubleshooting plant issues.
- Conduct process gas and product sampling.
Skills
Education
The primary responsibility of a Production Process Technician is to support the efficient and safe operation of the plant's production processes. They play a crucial role in ensuring that equipment and systems function optimally, production runs smoothly, and product quality meets the required standards.
- Ensure the smooth operation of the production plant.
- Follow work SOPs.
- Observe safety rules and 5S.
- Ensure cleanliness of work area, upkeep equipment and assist in the maintenance program and operating of production machinery and equipment.
- Assists in loading and unloading of ISO tanker, raw materials, carries out chemical waste sorting, waste transfer and stock keeping.
- Collect process data.
- Routine plant logging
- Conduct site walks to discover abnormalities.
- Conduct material weighing and charging (PA & RE).
- Assist TL in troubleshooting plant issues.
- Grade change cleaning activities (PA & RE).
- Perform confined space Tank cleaning (PA & RE).
- Reactor cleaning (PA).
- Conduct process gas and product sampling using gas chromatography (RE).
- Perform weekly PH meter calibration (CHE & PA).
- Min “O Level or equivalent or NITEC in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
- Fresh graduate acceptable
- Relevant working experience in a chemical manufacturing industry is an advantage.
- Computer‑literate able to perform data entry and use Microsoft Excel
- Good communication skills
- Hands‑on and able to multi‑task
- Self‑disciplined, good team player,
- Responsible and independent worker
- Have a safety mindset.
- Location: Jurong Island (Company Transport provided)
- Commence work: ASAP.
- Applicants can work in Singapore without requiring a work pass.
