Job Description:
Accurately dispense medication while monitoring pharmacy technicians' activities and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
Advise on drug interactions, provide information on medications, and offer self-care management advice to enhance patient compliance and self-care.
Motivate team members to maintain high standards of professional counselling and provide information to healthcare professionals and the community.
Offer specialized services for chronic conditions management and ambulatory care, ensuring safe and effective medication use.
Ensure proper storage, security, and disposal of medications, manage inventory levels, conduct stock takes, and monitor expiry dates.
Orientate, train, and develop pharmacy technicians/assistants, as well as provide guidance to pharmacy and technician students.
Maintain administrative functions, adhere to accounting procedures, prepare reports, schedule manpower, and ensure proper housekeeping and display of merchandise.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies issued by government agencies or the Ministry of Health.
Coach and supervise team members, participate in workplace improvement projects/activities, and perform assigned duties.
Report dispensing errors, patient complaints, and handle them promptly, escalating issues to the relevant department heads when necessary.
Job Requirements:
Degree in Pharmacy
Registered with Singapore Pharmacy Council
Demonstrates the ability to communicate information and ideas well to other healthcare professionals and patients.
Must have initiative, drive and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Must be team-oriented
Possess good organizational, analytical and excellent communication skills
