Job Purpose
The Executive/Senior Executive/Assistant Manager/Senior Assistant Manager will be responsible for managing assigned clinical services across the continuum of care, achieving outcomes in customer service, volume & financial targets, processes, and learning & growth.
Duties and Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities and Duties
Operations
- Manage service point operations assigned.
- Oversee daily operations, including front counter services, administrative and operational matters, and collaborate with Nurse Manager and doctors to resolve system and process issues.
- Work with department managers to ensure a positive patient experience throughout care.
- Ensure facilities are patient-friendly, safe, and clean.
- Collaborate with Nursing, Operational Support Services, and other stakeholders on infrastructure and building improvement projects, ensuring user requirements are captured, site works comply with standards, and projects are completed on time and within budget.
Customer Service
- Achieve customer satisfaction targets in partnership with the Reporting Officer.
- Devise innovative ways to continually improve service levels.
Business Management
- Achieve volume and financial targets for the clinical services, developing and executing business plans with clinical heads to reach goals.
- Manage annual financial budgeting, conduct regular reviews, and develop new services.
- Procure and manage logistics needs for the business.
Staff Management
- Manage non-nursing staff providing customer services, conduct appraisals with input from the Clinic/Nurse Manager.
- Ensure staff receive appropriate induction, training, and development.
- Handle staff recruitment and retention to maintain a skilled, motivated team, in partnership with the Nurse Manager.
Communication
- Facilitate communication between staff and hospital leadership, ensuring timely information dissemination, issue escalation, and problem-solving.
Secondary Responsibilities and Duties
- Implement hospital policies and procedures.
- Ensure policies and procedures are current.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
