Engineering Assistant - Multi-skilled

As an Engineering Assistant (Multi-skilled), you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient execution of all carpentry tasks, including:

1. Respond and attend to guest repair requests and communicate with guests to resolve maintenance issues.
2. Respond to emergency repair requests promptly to minimize disruptions.
3. Collaborate with other departments to support maintenance and renovation projects.
4. Completing guest request work orders promptly and accurately.
5. Help in performing routine and preventive maintenance as per the scheduled program.
6. Consistently delivering high-quality work.
7. Adhering to all safety protocols and wearing personal protective equipment while on duty.
8. Accurately completing and submitting work slips and request forms at the end of each shift.
9. Keeping the workspace clean and always organized.
10. Upholding InterContinental’s guidelines and service standards, consistently meeting or exceeding performance expectations.
11. Continuously learn and improve new techniques and processes to increase productivity and quality.
12. Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.

Requirements:

1. Physical fitness and dexterity to handle and maneuver heavy duty works.
2. Knowledge of different tools and equipment.
3. Attention to detail and ability to identify imperfections.
4. Experience in basic electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems.
5. Strong communication skills to work effectively with other team members and supervisors.
6. Adherence to safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
7. Willingness to work flexible in terms of work and hours.
