Job summary
A leading wood supplier in Malaysia seeks a Warehouse Management Officer to manage warehouse documentation, ensuring data accuracy, and generating reports. You will assist with stocktaking and coordinate with multiple departments. Proficiency in Mandarin, Bahasa Melayu, and English is essential. The ideal candidate should have excellent attention to detail and multitasking abilities. This role is crucial for maintaining efficient warehouse operations.
Qualifications
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
- Proficiency in Mandarin to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
Responsibilities
- Manage warehouse-related documents accurately.
- Ensure data entry accuracy for goods receipt and issuance.
- Prepare and generate inventory-related reports.
- Assist in accurate stocktaking during scheduled inventory.
- Coordinate with various departments to support operations.
Skills
- Responsible for managing warehouse-related documents, including inbound and outbound records, inventory records, etc.
- Enter data for operations such as goods receipt and issuance, ensuring accuracy in the warehouse management system. Regularly update inventory information to maintain consistency between system records and actual inventory.
- Prepare and generate warehouse-related reports, such as inventory reports, shipment reports, etc. Provide periodic statistical data to assist management in understanding warehouse operations.
- Assist the inventory clerks during scheduled inventory periods to ensure accurate stocktaking.
- Coordinate with purchasing, sales, R&D, and other departments to support overall business operations.
- Has sense of urgency and excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Good Mandarin, Bahasa Melayu & English communication in written and oral. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
