Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and deliver the Whole School Instrumental and Choral Programs.
  • Plan and implement high-quality music lessons tailored to students.
  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Performing Arts to ensure continuity of programs across the school.
  • Organize and lead musical events, performances, and productions throughout the school year.
  • Promote AISM through musical performances at public forums and competitions.
  • Actively contribute to the school's Co-curricular program, participating in more than one CCA per semester.
  • Develop strong, productive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Maintain a positive and safe classroom environment.
  • Assess and report on student progress in line with the school's expectations.
  • Participate in professional growth and contribute to the ongoing development of the school's music curriculum.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field with a specialization in Music.
  • Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience.
  • Experience leading instrumental and choral programs; ability to lead string ensembles or bands is highly desirable.
  • Strong ICT skills to enhance student learning and engagement.
  • Current Teacher Registration and relevant police checks.
