The position requires expertise in TIG, MIG, and SMAW welding techniques, with a preference for candidates who possess at least 2 years of experience in welding steel products. Successful applicants must be Malaysian citizens and hold a qualified 3G MIG welding certificate. This role involves adhering to safety protocols and performing tasks as directed by the Production Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Ability to read AutoCAD drawings.
• Possession of a qualified 3G MIG welding certificate.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG, MIG, SMAW welding for fabrication work.
• Receive daily work instructions from the Production Supervisor.
• Control usage of electrodes, wires, and flux.

Job description

To Perform TIG, MIG, SMAW welding of structure in fabrication work

Receive daily work instruction from Production Supervisor/Manager

Control the usage of electrodes, wires and flux and avoid unnecessary wastage

Report to Production Supervisor/Manager when abnormalities occur during the welding process

Maintain tools and welding equipment are in good working condition

Perform any other related duties as assigned by the production manager

Job Requirements

• Preferable to have 2 year experience to perform welding of steel products
• Able to read Autocad drawing and communicate with people
• At least 2 to 3 years experience in related metal industry is preferred
• Skill : Mechanical Fabricator or welder and
• Possess qualified 3G MIG welding certificate or equivalent standards
• This position is open for Malaysian Only
