Job summary

A trading and distribution organization based in Shah Alam is looking for an experienced Web Developer/IT Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting software applications with a focus on .NET and Microsoft Axapta systems. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields and have strong programming skills in various platforms. Good communication skills in English are required. This position is based at the corporate head office in Shah Alam.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science/IT or Software Engineering is required.
• Programming skills in various languages such as DotNet, C, Visual C#, Java, and SQL databases are essential.
• Knowledge of ERP systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the development, maintenance and support of computer applications.
• Design and development for DotNet and Microsoft Axapta system.
• Enhancement of Webpage, mobile applications, and ERP system.
• Manage and improve ERP application system and e-document system.
• Provide user support for in-house applications and develop reports.

Job description

This is organization is a subsidiary of a PLC and engaged in the trading and distribution of building materials and petroleum and automotive products in Malaysia. Currently they are seeking the services of an experienced Web Developer/IT Engineer with strong exposure to .NET application and Microsoft Axapta system to be based at their corporate head office at Shah Alam.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Responsible for the development, maintenance and support of computer applications.
• Responsible for the IT software designing and development for DotNet and Microsoft Axapta system.
• Responsible program/system development and enhancement in Webpage, mobile application, Microsoft Axapta ERP system and online system.
• Develop, manage and improve new and existing company ERP application system and e-document system.
• Software integration for web and back end ERP system.
• To provide user support for the in-house application, manage and develop both the programs and report.
• Develop and provide ideas on system improvement.
• Forms and reports maintenance and development.

The candidate

• Possess a Bachelor degree in Computer Science/IT or Software Engineering.
• Programming skills (DotNet programming, C language, Visual C#, Java, Objective-C, Lotus Notes, X++, MySQL and Microsoft SQL database).
• Knowledge in ERP application system will be an advantage.
• Good knowledge of IT systems including application servers, email and web servers, Window operating systems, MySQL.
• Knowledge in mobile or webpage application development will be an added advantage.
• Good communication skills in English.
