Job summary

A leading food manufacturing company in Malaysia seeks a Wastewater Executive. You'll oversee daily operations of the Industrial Effluent Treatment System, ensuring compliance with environmental standards, and managing lab analyses. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Engineering or Chemical (Environmental/Health/Safety) and the Certified Environmental Professional status. Experience in the manufacturing food industry and 2-5 years in a related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must possess Certified Environmental Professional in the Operation of Industrial Effluent Treatment Systems - Biological Process (CePIETSO - BP).
• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the day-to-day running of an Industrial Effluent Treatment System.
• Ensuring compliance with the Environmental Quality Act 1974 standards.
• Performing or supervising sampling and analysis of effluent.
