The Warehouse & Logistics Manager is responsible for managing end-to-end warehouse and logistics operations, ensuring accurate inventory control, efficient distribution, cost optimization, and full compliance with safety and quality standards. This role drives operational excellence, continuous improvement, and high service levels across warehousing, transportation, and fulfillment activities.

Key Responsibilities
Warehouse & Logistics Operations
  • Manage all warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
  • Oversee logistics and distribution to ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective delivery of products.
  • Manage and monitor third‑party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure service excellence.
  • Ensure shipments are accurately packed, dispatched on time, and delivered as scheduled.
  • Identify optimal transportation and shipment routes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Assess warehouse layout, material‑handling equipment, and manpower requirements to improve productivity.
Inventory Management & Control
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records across warehouses and storage locations.
  • Implement inventory control measures to prevent shortages, overstock, and inventory discrepancies.
  • Monitor slow‑moving, obsolete, and excess inventory and implement corrective actions.
  • Drive high inventory accuracy and material availability aligned with business objectives.
  • Monitor warehouse waste, scrap, and disposal processes to minimize losses.
Operational Excellence & Cost Management
  • Analyze warehouse and logistics performance data and generate actionable reports.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs such as inventory accuracy, on‑time delivery, order fulfillment, and productivity.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and eliminate non‑value‑added activities.
  • Manage warehouse and logistics budgets and implement cost reduction initiatives without compromising service quality.
Compliance, Safety & Quality
  • Ensure full compliance with environment, health, safety, and quality standards.
  • Maintain safe working conditions and adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits related to warehouse and logistics operations.
People & Stakeholder Management
  • Lead, coach, and develop warehouse and logistics teams.
  • Establish departmental KPIs and performance management frameworks.
  • Plan manpower and training needs to build a high‑performing team.
  • Collaborate with production, sales, finance, and customer service teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
  • Provide regular updates on warehouse and logistics performance and operational risks.
Systems & Order Fulfillment
  • Ensure ERP systems support efficient warehouse and logistics operations.
  • Manage order fulfillment processes from order release through shipping and delivery.
  • Resolve operational issues impacting fulfillment through effective cross‑functional coordination.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a managerial role in warehouse and logistics operations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
