Summary of the Job

We are looking for a Warehouse Assistant at SIT-JB to support warehouse operations by handling inventory management, material movement, and documentation. The role ensures smooth material flow for manufacturing processes while maintaining accuracy and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Job Responsibilities
  • Ensure receiving items are correct and complete with the accompanying documents and strictly follow the documented work Instruction and Procedures.
  • Notify any discrepancy during receiving & outbound items.
  • Ensure material are outbound as required.
  • Ensure that the storage area and the goods are properly maintained.
  • Escalate to Supervisor/ Manager if found concern on safety issues or potential breakdown in warehouse process gaps that may lead to inventory inaccuracy, quality of the materials and delivery during receiving and materials issuing.
  • Packing & Palletizing and related logistics assistance for movement of stocks/ products.
  • Maintain proper records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Update inventory transactions in the ERP system.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and warehouse safety regulations.
  • Follow workplace safety and hygiene guidelines.
  • Keep the warehouse clean and organized.
  • Other duties as and when assigned.
Job Requirements
  • SPM / Certificate / Diploma in logistics, warehousing, supply chain, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in warehouse operations (preferably in a manufacturing environment).
  • Basic knowledge of inventory control, stock movement, and warehouse best practices.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (preferred but not required)
  • Self-motivated, highly resourceful, and organized.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
  • ISO 9001 or similar quality system auditing experience.
  • Ability to communicate simple English cross-functionally.
