Vision Engineer (Application/ Tech Support)

We also provide other customized automation solutions to customers around South East Asia.

Job Description

• Vision integration with other type of equipment using APIs, middleware and communication protocols.
• Work closely with other engineering groups to support the manufacturing to achieve performance requirements of the overall system.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to customer.
• Liaise well with customer regarding any vision requests/ issues and conduct evaluation to find solutions to customer’s requests.
• Any other ad-hoc assignments within the scope of company.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) / Engineering (Computer/Software) / Engineering (Mechatronic) / Computer Science / Information Technology, or equivalent.
• Required language(s): English, Chinese and Bahasa Malaysia. Knowledge of writing in Chinese will be an added advantage.
• Willing to work in Melaka/Seremban and travel to customer sites (oversea/ local) for vision troubleshooting and support when required.
• Willing to work extra hours and support on weekend or public holiday if required.
