A financial services organization in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Vice President for Group Rewards and Performance. The successful candidate will develop and implement strategic HR rewards initiatives and manage projects across the organization. Ideal candidates should have a degree in Human Resource Management and at least 8-10 years of relevant experience. Strong analytical and relationship-building skills are essential for effective communication and project delivery. Facilitate the development and implementation of Group HR rewards and performance management strategies and policies.
Lead and manage typically moderately complex and/or small to medium-sized Group Rewards & Performance Management projects and initiatives across the organization to ensure effective implementation and execution, including change management of the projects/initiatives
Monitor actual expenditures and recommend appropriate control measures to ensure projects are conducted cost effectively and within approved budget
Collaborate and partner with peers in the organization to collate inputs, feedbacks and any other relevant information as required for effective and successful project delivery/ implementation
Highlight project progress, identify and recommend appropriate solutions to relevant stakeholders for any critical issues that may arise
Provide advisory, analytics and support services relating to the Group's rewards and performance management programs including base salary, benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, PMS, and other rewards and perquisites related matters
Lead and manage the development/review and implementation of typically moderately complex and/or small/medium-sized Group-wide rewards and performance management projects and initiatives, taking into consideration of the cost, market positioning and business relevance
Lead or conduct HR analytics and external benchmarking analysis to support decision making or proposed changes to any rewards and performance management policies
Lead or participate in the year-end performance review, promotions, annual salary review, bonus/STI and LTI payouts cycle
Conduct timely review of processeses/policies and recommend appropriate improvements to ensure they are efficient and relevant to operational needs
Prepare timely management presentations, GNRC and Board papers
Ensure awareness and compliance with legal, regulatory requirements and internal policies, procedures and guidelines.
Degree in Human Resource Management, Business or other related disciplines
Minimum 8-10 years relevant working experience (strategic, consulting, and/or operational experience)
In-depth knowledge of of total rewards, performance management and
Good commercial acumen and broad understanding of the financial services industry and business model
Proven experience in program and project management
Exhibited strong data analytical skills and ability to resolve moderately complex problems using multiple sources of information and precedence
Strong relationship building skills with ability to communicate, influence and negotiate effectively with peers in the organization
