Job Description

• Run wheat cleaning, milling, flour blending (or other relevant) processes as per production plan.
• Ensure targets set by management are met within individual shifts during operations - such as flour extraction, milling capacity, milling efficiency, flour quality, etc.
• Promote safe workplace and working culture within the department, ensuring all safety SOP are adhered to and where & when required, usage of PPE.
• Promote 5S culture within the department. Measure results, correct and guide employees in the importance of workplace organization and cleanliness.
• Ensure regulations, legislative and other procedures are in compliance to HACCP, machinery department, GMP, etc.
• Closely coordinate with sanitation and maintenance department in planning the preventive maintenance and cleaning schedules so as to ensure non-disruption to the production output and the business as a whole.
• Promptly report any defective symptoms or breakdown of machinery and closely monitor the maintenance & repairs performed by the engineering department during the shift to ensure minimum loss of production time.
• To acquire knowledge on the production processes, machinery & equipment operations, materials & products and the necessary skills through on-the-job training and correspondent courses.
• To perform autonomous maintenance (cleaning, oiling, tightening, inspection), repairs & maintenance on machines to ensure optimum operation.
• To perform any other tasks that assigned by the management from time to time.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial / Mechatronic) or equivalent.
• 0 - 2 years of working experience in manufacturing industry or relevant.
