The Tour Consultant is responsible for advising clients on travel destinations and tour packages, creating customized itineraries, and ensuring excellent customer service throughout the travel planning process. This role focuses on selling tour products while delivering memorable travel experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consult with clients to understand travel preferences, budgets, and requirements
  • Recommend and sell tour packages, holiday programs, and travel services
  • Design customized itineraries for individual and group travellers
  • Coordinate bookings for hotels, tours, transportation, and activities
  • Provide accurate information on destinations, itineraries, and inclusions
  • Handle tour confirmations, amendments, and cancellations
  • Assist clients with travel documentation such as visas and insurance
  • Resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and travel-related issues
  • Maintain client records and follow up to ensure satisfaction
  • Achieve individual and team sales targets
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Travel, Tourism, or Hospitality
  • Experience in tour sales or travel consultancy
  • Strong knowledge of destinations and tour products
  • Excellent communication, sales, and customer service skills

Working Conditions

Office-based with possible travel for familiarization trips

Occasional out of the normal working hours, including weekends during peak travel seasons or when required by the management
