  • Report on the achievement of targets and identify required actions.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in engineering (Polymer/ Tooling / Manufacturing) or any related disciplines.
  • At least 8 years of related experiences in plastic molding tool design and development & with minimum 3 years of experiences in managerial level.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, Auto CAD, UG NX 10 & 11, Mold Flow, Moldex, 3D/2D drawing, CNC Programming, EDM, Wire-cut.
  • Good problem solving skill to repair/maintain on a broken tool.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for RQF, Quote, DFM, Tool Design, and Manufacturing.
  • Contact point of customer for new tool manufacturing and ECN's implementation during and after tool fabrication.
  • Perform audit/checking functions on critical design changes per procedures and guidelines.
  • Responsible for the trouble shooting and servicing of tools those running to produce the precision components.
  • Providing engineering assistance in tooling manufacture, optimization, and commissioning.
  • Inspecting finished dies for smoothness, contour conformity, and defects, test, repair broken or damaged patterns, modify articles to suit the specifications.
  • Manage, coach and develop a high performing tool room team that meets agreed objectives, and which delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvements.
  • Set department objectives/ KPIs and review and assess ongoing performance of direct reports.
  • Report on achievement of targets and identify any actions required.
