Position Overview

This role is responsible for driving Talent Management and Organizational Development initiatives across operations in Malaysia and Thailand. The role focuses on identifying high‑potential talent, crafting career pathways, defining leadership competencies, and advising business leaders on people strategies to build a strong, future‑ready workforce.

The ideal candidate is a strategic, hands‑on TM/OD professional who can partner with business leaders, translate organizational goals into actionable talent strategies, and implement frameworks that develop leadership capabilities and succession pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

1. Talent Management & Leadership Development (70–80%)

  • Lead initiatives to identify and assess high‑potential talent across Malaysia and Thailand.
  • Design and implement structured career pathways and succession planning frameworks aligned with business needs.
  • Define and operationalize leadership competencies for various levels, ensuring consistency across functions and geographies.
  • Advise business leaders on talent strategies, capability gaps, and development interventions to strengthen organizational performance.
  • Support performance management processes, including calibrations, talent reviews, and readiness assessments.
  • Develop tools, dashboards, and analytics to track leadership pipelines, career progression, and workforce readiness.

2. Organizational Development (20–30%)

  • Partner with HRBPs and business leaders to translate organizational goals into effective OD strategies.
  • Design and implement interventions to strengthen team effectiveness, culture, and change adoption.
  • Provide guidance on OD best practices, including role clarity, competency modeling, and talent mobility programs.
  • Collaborate with learning & development teams to ensure integration of OD insights into capability‑building programs.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Psychology, or related field; advanced qualifications (HRP, CIPD, or similar) preferred.
  • 7–10 years of HR experience with a strong focus on Talent Management, Organizational Development and Leadership Capability Building.
  • Experience in high‑potential identification, succession planning, competency modeling, and career pathing.
  • Exposure to manufacturing, engineering, or F&B industries is preferred.
  • Strong advisory experience with senior stakeholders across multiple countries.
