Job summary

A financial services company in Malaysia is seeking a Telemarketer for the Contact Centre. The role involves managing customer relationships through pre-sales inquiries, sales, and ongoing customer service. Candidates should have at least 3 years of relevant experience in outbound sales, preferably in the insurance industry, and must possess insurance certifications. Fluency in English and Mandarin is advantageous. This position offers a chance to engage with customers and drive sales in a dynamic environment.

Telemarketer (Contact Centre/Relationship Officer)

Responsible for pre-sales inquiries, sales, post-sale customer service and on-going customer relationship management.

Reach out to existing and potential customers to present our product and service offering.

Communicate with customers to understand their requirements, needs and address any questions or issues customers may have.

Offer solutions based on clients’ needs and capabilities.

Managing customer’s enquiries or policies in order for existing customers to remain satisfied with company products and services.

Developing and sustaining solid relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.

Using sales scripts provided by the company as a guidance to drive sales and respond to customer rejections.

Gathering and documenting customer information, payment methods, purchases and call outcomes in the designated CRM or tracking tools.

Ensure daily and monthly KPIs (Call Performance and Sales Target) are met and exceeded

Well versed of insurance products and services.

Job Requirements

Minimum Diploma/ GCE ‘O’ level with at least 3 years of relevant workexperience doing outbound sales preferably in call centre environment and general insurance industry

Possess Insurance certification (GI – BCP & PGI) and basic computingskills

Energetic, outgoing personality and serviceoriented

Independent and a fast leaner withinitiative

Able to converse fluently in both English and Mandarin (would be an advantage but not mandatory)

Team player with excellent interpersonal and communicationskills
