TECHNICIAN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT) UNIT

UNIKL MITEC

KEY ROLES :

Policies, Guidelines, and SOP Compliance

• Ensure all UniKL MITEC assets are properly recorded and updated, including movement and damage status.
• Maintain accurate records and upkeep of UniKL MITEC IT devices loaned to end users.

IT Office Management

• Assist in the usage, maintenance, and troubleshooting of UniKL MITEC PCs, workstations, and notebooks for both staff and laboratory use.
• Provide support for the usage and maintenance of major IT equipment, including network systems, Wi‑Fi, internet, and PABX.

Liaison with Division/Center on Relevant Issues

• Support and assist end users with ICT-related requests or complaints.
• Provide technical support for audio and visual system requirements during events.

REQUIREMENTS :

• Minimum Diploma in Computer Science.
• At least 3 years of working experience is preferred.
• Able to perform basic and advanced computer maintenance, including diagnostics and other related IT tasks.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to listen effectively and communicate clearly through email, verbal discussions, and written formats.
• Highly motivated and passionate about the role.
• Capable of working collaboratively and cooperatively with individuals at all levels, both internally and externally.
• Reliable and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrates a cooperative attitude and provides strong support to team members.
