Job description

The Technician is responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of machinery, equipment, and systems to ensure smooth and safe operations. The role requires hands‑on technical skills, compliance with safety standards, and relevant certified qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

Perform installation, servicing, preventive maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment.

Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control system faults.

Assist in commissioning and testing of new equipment and systems.

Conduct routine inspections and ensure machines operate efficiently and safely.

Maintain service records, maintenance logs, and technical documentation.

Support production or project teams during breakdowns and urgent repairs.

Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and company SOPs.

Liaise with engineers, supervisors, and external contractors when required.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

Certificate / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Technology, or equivalent.

Technical Skills

Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.

Ability to read technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and manuals.

Familiar with preventive maintenance practices and troubleshooting techniques.
