A leading technology firm in Malaysia is seeking a customer support technician to provide level one technical support via various channels including email and phone. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in engineering and at least one year of relevant experience. Knowledge in software and hardware is advantageous. Responsibilities include assisting clients, responding to requests, conducting technical training sessions, and supporting walk-in customers. To assist clients with level one technical support via email, phone, livechat, and remote access.
Respond to all customer requests for assistance in a professional manner.
Be involved in pre-sales activities and after sales services.
Diagnose and troubleshoot for technical issues.
Conduct technical training session for both local and overseas clients.
Attend to walk-in customers and provide technical support if necessary/requested by team leader.
Conduct duties assigned by superior from time to time.
Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent.
Required language - Must be fluid in written and spoken English.
Have passion and willing to learn new technology products.
Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as being a dynamic team player.
At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Knowledge in Software, Network and Hardware are an added advantage.
Preferably Junior Executive specialized in Technical & Helpdesk Support or equivalent.
