Reporting to: Proposal Manager
Type: Full-Time, Onsite (Hybrid after confirmation)

Role Description

The Technical Sales Executive is responsible for organizing, executing, and monitoring assigned projects related to Crane Tracks. This role ensures timely, accurate, and efficient project handling while adhering to the quality standards, policies, and guidelines. The position supports sales activities, proposal development, and cross-functional coordination from tender to project handover.

Job Responsibilities
  • Prepare costings based on information gathered from interdepartmental and intercompany communication.
  • Provide technical, commercial, and logistics support to Sales Managers and contribute to project integration.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Project Management, and Purchasing teams to develop technical and commercial proposals.
  • Lead the preparation of quotations during the tender stage.
  • Work closely with Technical, Purchasing, Back-Office, Installation, and Finance departments to produce the first assessment of project feasibility, including:
    • Technical feasibility
    • Production, purchasing, shipment, and installation planning
    • Financial and contract compliance, including timelines and general terms & conditions
  • Ensure timely preparation and submission of required reports.
  • Support cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle to ensure alignment with project requirements and customer expectations.
  • Follow up on assigned projects to ensure quality, timeline, and process adherence.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong technical sales and sales engineering capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; tech-savvy candidates preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, especially in English.
  • Experience in sales processes and client relationship management.
  • Ability to work fully onsite in Johor Bahru.
