JOB BRIEF

We are looking for a dynamic candidate who can thrive in a fast-paced business environment. The candidate will act as the key link between our company and farm producers, and you will aim at achieving sales target while delivering values to producers. The objective for a technical sales specialist is to increase the visibility and awareness of our company’s pharmaceutical and biological products among poultry and aquaculture producers, being their trusted partner and maximize business growth.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Drove revenue growth by actively selling and positioning company products and services to meet the specific needs of clients within assigned Malaysian territories.
  • Consistently achieved sales targets through the effective execution of territory-specific marketing strategies and sales action plans.
  • Expansion customer base by ensuring existing key account customers are effectively maintained and recruiting of new key account customers.
  • Enhanced customer proficiency and adoption by developing and conducting targeted in-house product training sessions.
  • Contributed to team strategy by regularly attending and participating in sales meetings, training programs, and industry conferences.
  • Ensured data integrity by meticulously creating and maintaining customer profiles, marketing plans, and accurate rolling sales forecasts.
  • Informed strategic decisions by analyzing market data and competitor activities to uncover and exploit key competitive advantages.
  • Provided critical project support to management on high-priority tasks, such as managed pre-launch activities and product launch campaigns.
  • Provision of assistance to technical team in running field outcome research or science-based trial, including site selection, protocol adherence, sample/data collection, and timeline coordination.
  • Managed administrative workflow by submitting timely and accurate sales reports and necessary documentation.
  • Demonstrated high mobility through extensive scheduled and unscheduled travel across regions to engage leads and secure sales opportunities.
WHAT YOU MUST HAVE

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in veterinary medicine. Preferably at least 3 years experiences in poultry/aquaculture farming or animal health pharmaceutical
  • Proficiency in English, Chinese, and Bahasa Malaysia is compulsory
  • Self-driven and motivated to deliver the sales target with adaptability & agility to the new environment
  • Must hold a valid driving license
  • Sales expertise and relationship management
  • Negotiation and presentation skills
  • Proficient in MS Office
