A leading recruitment firm is looking for a Technical Sales Executive in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Responsibilities
  • Provide sales and marketing activities to existing customers and search for new customers.
  • Execute activities to take care of existing customers and search for new clients who might benefit from the company’s products or services, maximizing client potential in designated regions as required.
  • Execute activities that develop long-term relationships with clients by managing and interpreting their requirements.
  • Persuade clients that a product or service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price, and delivery.
  • Negotiate tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs.
  • Calculate client quotations and administer client accounts.
  • Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education by delivering product training to customers.
  • Work on after-sales support services and provide technical backup as required.
  • Assist in the design of custom-made products and provide training and support materials for other members of the sales team.
  • Prepare timely sales reports to inform leadership regarding customer situations and requirements.
  • Enter customer information and needs into the company system.Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events.
  • Make technical presentations and demonstrate how a product meets client needs.
  • Liaise with other members of the sales team and technical experts.
  • Follow up on payments from customers.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics.
  • Good communication skills in English and Mandarin, especially when dealing with Mandarin-speaking clients.
  • Own transport and willingness to travel for business trips.
  • Experience in technical sales, preferably in the motors/motion control or steel industry, is a plus.
