Gummi Metall Technik (M) Sdn Bhd, a leading manufacturer of innovative engineering solutions, is seeking a highly-skilled Technical Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team in Kuala Kangsar, Perak. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in driving new business development and strengthening our presence in the market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively identify and generate new business opportunities by engaging with potential clients and analysing market trends.
  • To prepare sales related proposal, reports and analysis.
  • To achieve annual sales target.
  • Provide expert technical advice and support to customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeding their expectations
  • Collaborate closely with the engineering team to develop innovative solutions tailored to customer requirements
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and foster new partnerships to drive continued growth
  • Monitor industry developments and competitor activities to stay ahead of the curve
  • Actively contribute to the overall sales strategy and help drive the company's expansion plans
  • Reporting to Head of Department of Sales & Marketing.
Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience in a technical sales or business development role within the engineering industry
  • Diploma/Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Knowledgeable or work experience in mechanical parts and technical products.
  • Able to read technical drawings.
  • Proven track record of successfully identifying, pitching, and closing new business opportunities
  • Strong technical expertise and understanding of engineering principles, particularly in the areas of metals and materials
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with customers and internal office and production team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and driven to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Willingness to travel within the local region & overseas to meet with customers and attend industry events
