The Team Lead will guide and develop a high-performing R2R team, maintain strong financial controls, and drive process efficiency and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead and oversee the processing of accounting data entries in the ERP/accounting system, ensuring accuracy and completeness across general ledger postings, accruals, and adjustments.

Review and approve journal entries prepared by the team—such as accruals, prepayments, and reclassifications—ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.

Supervise the maintenance of the fixed assets register, including capitalization, depreciation, transfers, and disposals, while ensuring proper documentation and asset controls.

Monitor and review key account reconciliations (e.g., general ledger accounts, intercompany balances, accruals, suspense accounts) to ensure accuracy, timely resolution of discrepancies, and strong balance sheet integrity.

Coordinate and drive month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring deadlines are met and all R2R deliverables are completed with high quality.

Oversee the preparation of management reports, financial schedules, variance analysis, and other supporting documents required for financial reporting.

Ensure proper maintenance, organization, and audit-readiness of all R2R documentation and accounting records.

Provide support during internal and external audits, including review of audit schedules, coordination of team deliverables, and addressing audit queries promptly and professionally.

Ensure compliance with company accounting policies, internal controls, statutory requirements, and reporting standards (e.g., GST, IFRS/GAAP).

Identify process improvement opportunities, streamline workflows, and support implementation of best practices within the R2R function.

Mentor, guide, and support team members, fostering continuous learning, productivity, and service excellence.

Perform ad hoc financial tasks or analysis as assigned by the Finance Manager or relevant stakeholders.

Job Requirements :

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with internal stakeholders, auditors, and cross‑functional teams.

Demonstrated leadership ability, including guiding team members, reviewing work quality, and ensuring adherence to deadlines and service levels.

Proactive, adaptable, and able to perform under pressure during peak reporting cycles.
