Job summary

A technology manufacturing company located in Bayan Lepas is seeking a Quality Engineer. The role involves managing supplier quality, conducting audits, and supporting procurement of new suppliers. Standard job title: Quality Engineer

Job Descriptions:

• Manage and dispose the nonconformance material, issue SCAR to supplier to drive the quality improvement, and validate the effectiveness of the CAPA that implemented by suppliers.
• Conduct quarterly quality performance assessment and enhance the supplier quality performance by QIP/CIP.
• Promote supplier-side error-proofing and automation initiatives to enhance product reliability and defects reduction.
• Conduct Supplier audit or assessment per master audit plan.
• Support the procurement and NPI team on new suppliers & material development.
• Review and manage Supplier Product Change Notification (PCN) to assess impact and ensure alignment with company standards.
• Drive Quality dept. internal improvement project & QCC projects.
• Responsible for creating spec/WI for material inspection method, update control plan & FMEA.
• Handle supplier quality system survey and first part and ASL approval.
• Support the customer quality complaint caused by raw material issue.
• Support internal audits.
• Support IQA operations.
• Other working tasks assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor\'s Degree, Professional Degree in any engineering.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Bayan Lepas.

• Experience in Tools/Skill level need (Understand or Practiced): Understand (APQP/PPAP/MSA/FMEA/Control Plan),Practiced (SPC)
