Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-contract quantity surveying services for assigned projects.
• Advise on appropriate contract procedures and procurement strategies.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ) and tender documents for both main and subcontract works.
• Evaluate and analyze tenders to ensure competitiveness and compliance with project requirements.
• Finalize and agree on contract claims, payments, and final accounts with contractors and subcontractors.
• Monitor and control project budgets to ensure expenditures align with approved costs.
• Assist in cost estimation and cost planning for new and ongoing projects.
• Prepare and analyze cost comparisons to support decision-making.
• Establish and maintain a database for costs, materials, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Source, obtain quotations, and perform pricing negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Evaluate supplier proposals to ensure quality, value, and compliance.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials and services.
• Maintain accurate records of contracts, tender submissions, and cost data.
• Support project teams with contractual and cost-related matters.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by the Supervisor from time to time.
