Job summary

A leading foodservice company in Malaysia is seeking a Store Assistant to handle inventory management. Responsibilities include reporting stock levels, monitoring minimum stock, and ensuring sufficient raw materials for production. Ideal candidates should possess a Diploma in Foodservice Halal Practice and have at least 2 years of experience in a related field. The role requires good counting skills, basic computer skills, and access to SAP for material issuance. Training in safety protocols is also part of the responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Report weekly physical stock to the factory officer.
• Monitor minimum stock levels for trading items.

Job Description

General

Responsible for reporting weekly physical stock closing to the factory officer.

Monitor minimum stock level for the trading items.

Issue requisition (PR) for insufficient/shortage raw material & trading items.

Able to access to SAP –MIGO – issue material & receive production & trading product.

To inspect fumigation process of storm bulk bag, finished goods, raw material and other inventory stock.

Labour Force

Request for workers to assist on stock count monthly.

Production

Ensure raw material is always sufficient for smooth running of production.

Environment, Safety and Health

Technical knowledge and safety awareness gain and transfer by organizing and attending related training.

Ensure wearing suitable safety gear and Personal Protective Equipment during work.

Job Requirement

• Diploma in Foodservice Halal Practice
• Experience in related field - 2 years and more
• To have good counting skills and photographic memory
• Basic computer skills
